Easy tool for bulk photo resizing

My mom has been visiting for the last couple weeks to help us out with Marion, and as you can imagine, we’ve been taking a ton of pictures. Well, she’s been trying to send images to people without resizing them first, so they often fail to send or take forever. Yesterday I introduced her to an easy photo resizing tool, and I thought I should share it with you, too.

Whether you need to resize images for your website, or just to send to your friends and family, you should make sure they are small enough to send and open easily.

To resize a lot of pictures at once, I use FastStone Photo Resizer, which you can download for free from Download.com. It’s easy to use and will help save time and space when working with large images.

As you can see in the screenshot below, resizing your images saves a ton of space. If you’d like additional help using this free software, let me know, and I’d be more than happy to write a step-by-step instructional post.
