Connecting Congo, one of our non-profit websites that we donate our time & services to, is hosting a 5K Fun Run/Walk in Seattle on April 23, 2011. I encourage any and all of our North Idaho and surrounding area folks who go to Seattle frequently to go register!
Their goal is to raise $30,000 to build a bridge in Moba-Port, DR Congo, that will help students get to school (pretty important!) and to equip the Learning Center with 30 new laptops.
Even if you don’t want to go run or walk, you can go make a small donation (it’s tax-deductible, too, which is nice!). Every little bit helps, and I know they couldn’t do it without the support of great volunteers and donations.
Easy Registration
With the cool registration plugin we installed and set up on their website, registration is a breeze! You can easily sign up and even pay for your registration online through PayPal. It’s also really easy for them to manage all of the event attendees.
