As the new year gets started, this is a good time to remember to log in to your website and update your copyright at the bottom (if it it doesn’t automatically update).
Having an updated copyright quickly shows your potential and current customers that you’re active and available for business. Don’t be like one of our local competitors who has a copyright that’s 3 years old! To be honest, I’m not even sure if this company is still in business (based on their outdated website).

One of the keys to maintaining a modern and up-to-date website is remembering to remove outdated content. Now, I’m not talking about old blogs. Those are post-dated and intended to be archived.
I’m talking about content on your website that is time-sensitive, like event calendars, announcements, coupons, specials.

If you’re just getting started with social media, or you’ve been using it for a while, you know there are lots of scammers and spammers out there. It’s no surprise with as many users that Facebook has.
So how can you stay on top of what’s new, what’s real, and what to avoid?
Hopefully this trend will continue because it’s kind of hard to believe, but according to Symantec, spam is on the DECLINE!
As you can see from this graph, spam has been dropping since August.
