As you may have heard a while back, Google reportedly offered to buy Groupon for $5-6 Billion dollars and was rejected. As suspected, they are now developing their own similar service, Google Offers.
If you haven’t heard of Groupon yet, I encourage you to go sign up. It’s free to sign up, and every day you will be emailed a “Deal of the Day” for a local vendor, usually 50-60% off. For example, I bought a $40 gift certificate for Auntie’s Bookstore in Spokane for $20. Pretty good deal, right? Well, you’re not the only one who thinks so. As the new year gets started, this is a good time to remember to log in to your website and update your copyright at the bottom (if it it doesn’t automatically update).
Having an updated copyright quickly shows your potential and current customers that you’re active and available for business. Don’t be like one of our local competitors who has a copyright that’s 3 years old! To be honest, I’m not even sure if this company is still in business (based on their outdated website).
